Theppitak Khemla is a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) candidate at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University. His academic interests focus on health policy, pharmaceutical systems, patient access and medicine pricing, economic evaluation, and data-driven decision-making in pharmaceutical sciences. He has research experience in systematic reviews, policy evaluation, and applied health systems analysis, including work on health insurance for asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants; Thailand’s “One ID Card for Universal Healthcare Access” policy in collaboration with NHSO Thailand, the Ministry of Public Health, and Ramathibodi Hospital; long-term care under Thailand’s Universal Health Coverage; and comparative reviews of international DRG systems. His work has been recognized through accepted presentations at the APRU Global Health Conference 2024 and Prince Mahidol Award Conference 2026, as well as an oral presentation published in the Journal of Medical Bioscience. He has also held student leadership roles, including President of the Academic and Profession Department of the Pharmaceutical Students’ Union of Chulalongkorn University and pioneer president of Thailand’s first medical and pharmaceutical academic competition, and has received several honors, including the Outstanding Student Award and first place in the 23rd Asia Pacific Pharmaceutical Symposium Drug Marketing Competition.
